Used to be a good value. I drive past another couple auto washes every day on the way home from work but I'd go to this one because it's cheapest. Prices just jumped 2 bucks for each package. I'll be going elsewhere now.
Change machine took my 5 bucks but didn't give me change. Price went up on the auto wash for no reason. No number to call if there is a problem. I can tell this place will probably close after the summer. Owner apparently doesn't care about his business.
I visited Churton Auto Wash today. I paid $8.00 and got 1 round of soap and 1 rinse that didn't even remove all of the soap from my car. This is the 3rd time this has happened! The number listed is going to a fax machine. I tried sending a fax and it would not accept the fax I was trying to send. There is NO way of talking to a human when things go wrong here! I will not be using this business again!
Let's agree that there are two measures of a business. One is the customer's experience when all goes as planned, and the second is how the business handles the issues when things don't go as planned. I'm a regular customer of Churton Auto Wash. When things go as planned, I pay my money and drive away with a clean car. Yesterday I got the see the OTHER measure of this business. I paid $8.00 for 'The Works' (psychedelic suds). And I got my psychedelic suds. Got them during the wash phase, during the rinse phase, during the dry phase and some more as I drove out. If there is a phone number for the 'Help' posted on the building, I didn't find it. Google fed me a number... which rang to a fax machine. In the end I spend another $5.00 in the other bay to get the psychedelic suds off the van. I know this is a coin-op world, but you've to to be available when things go wrong, and willing to make it right.
Foam wax wouldn't stop squirting out! Had to pay for a hand wash to rinse vehicle. Phone number still a fax. Calling credit card company and disputing charge....
